Did you ever dream of performing at the Star Plaza Theatre?
Well, dreams come true!

STAR PLAZA THEATRE is proud to announce open auditions
for a summer of musical theatre!

The production team that brought you last year's highly successful
"High School Musical" is ready for another exciting summer of great musicals!

The award-winning Broadway musical

and the winner of the OSCAR for Best Picture in 2003

will be presented July 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, 2008.

"Chicago", with music by Fred Ebb and John Kander, is a vaudeville-type musical that tells the story of Roxie Hart, a chorus girl who murders her unfaithful lover, then manages not only to avoid prison time with the help of a razzle-dazzle lawyer, but uses the trial to propel herself to showbiz stardom along with another murderous chorus girl, Velma Kelly. "Chicago" is a sexy, musical extravaganza that includes such show-stopping numbers as "All That Jazz," "Razzle Dazzle" and "He Had It Coming." A full orchestra on stage will compliment this exciting production.

Due to the tremendous success of the current national tour this show is not available for regional/community theatre productions; but Star Plaza Theatre is pleased to have been granted an exclusive license to present a regional theatre production of this highly requested award-winning show this summer.

We also encourage you to see the national tour of "Chicago" at the Star Plaza
on Sunday, March 9, 2008 at 7pm
.
